TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Reservations & Payment

  • All reservations require full payment at the time of booking (room rate plus applicable taxes).
  • Payments are accepted via major credit/debit cards. Cash may be accepted at the property’s discretion.
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice, except for confirmed reservations already paid in full.

2. Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in time: 2:00 PM 
  • Check-out time: 10:00 AM

3. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must present a valid photo ID and credit card at check-in.
  • The registered guest is responsible for all charges, damages, and behavior of their party during the stay

4. Property Rules

  • Non-Smoking Policy: All rooms are non-smoking. This includes but is not limited to, cigarettes, marijuana and vaping of any kind. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for violations.
  • Pets: Pets are permitted in designated rooms only, subject to a nightly fee. Guests must notify the motel in advance if traveling with pets. If additional cleaning is required due to pet hair, odors, accidents, or damage, a minimum of $150 cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account
  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.
  • Parking & Boats: Complimentary on-site parking is provided. Boat and trailer parking is available in designated areas only.

5. Damages, Cleaning & Extra Charges

  • Missing or damaged linens, towels, or furnishings will be billed to the guest’s account.
  • Excessive cleaning needs (such as food spills, trash, or pet mess) will incur a minimum $100 cleaning fee.

6. Liability

  • Cool City Motel is not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal property during your stay.
  • Use of motel amenities, such as the fish cleaning station, fire pit, and playground, is at the guest’s own risk.

7. Management Rights

  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or evict guests for violation of these terms, illegal activity, or behavior that endangers staff, property, or other guests.
  • Decisions made by motel management are final.

8. Alcohol Policy

  • Guests of legal drinking age (21+) are permitted to consume alcohol in their rooms or in designated outdoor areas.
  • Alcohol may not be consumed in public walkways, hallways, or common areas unless specifically permitted by motel management (e.g., during special events).
  • Excessive drinking, disruptive behavior, or intoxication that disturbs other guests or staff will not be tolerated and may result in eviction without refund.
  • Guests are responsible for their own safety and behavior while consuming alcohol. Cool City Motel assumes no liability for accidents, injuries, or damages related to alcohol consumption.
  • Selling or distributing alcohol on motel property without prior approval and proper licensing is strictly prohibited.

9. Minimum Age Policy

  • Guests must be at least 18 years of age to reserve and check into a room at Cool City 
  • A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in to verify age.
  • The registered guest must be present throughout the stay and is responsible for the conduct of all occupants in the room.
  • Reservations made by individuals under the age of 18, or for unaccompanied minors, will not be honored and may be subject to cancellation without refund.

10. Firearms & Weapons Policy

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests and staff, firearms, explosives, and other weapons are strictly prohibited on motel property, except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Guests who are legally permitted to carry firearms must ensure that all weapons are unloaded, secured, and stored safely at all times.
  • Open carry of firearms is not permitted in any common areas of the motel, including the lobby, hallways, and outdoor gathering spaces.
  • Any display, brandishing, or irresponsible handling of a firearm or weapon will result in immediate eviction without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.
  • Cool City Motel is not responsible for accidents, theft, or misuse of firearms or weapons brought onto the property.
